Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center is seeking a Monitor Tech to monitor cardiac rhythms and support nursing staff in a busy telemetry unit. This role involves indirect patient care and documentation duties within the Med/Surg/Telemetry departments.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a current dysrhythmia interpretation certificate, and a current BLS certification. Prior Monitor Technician experience is preferred, with part‑time shifts available.

Qualifications

• Dysrhythmia interpretation required within 30 days of hire.
• BLS certification required or maintained after hire.
• Healthcare experience or Monitor Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE/EMR documentation.
• Verify that lab and radiology orders have been placed and completed.
• Prepare and compile patient records in Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Order supplies and keep patient charts up to date.
• Assist RN with indirect patient care under CNA supervision when eligible.
