Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center is seeking a Monitor Technician to support the telemetry unit. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, transcribing orders when needed, and ensuring timely documentation for each patient’s chart. The position is part-time with daytime shifts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, current Dysrhythmia Interpretation and BLS certifications, plus prior healthcare exposure. Training in CNA duties may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Six months healthcare or Monitor Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE/EMR.
• Verify tests are ordered and completed; prepare patient charts.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed within CNA scope.
