• Candidates with no surveillance program must complete a certificate within 90 days.
• Sentara Basic Arrhythmia competency tool must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Observe, recognize, interpret, evaluate and document EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients.
• Promptly notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
