Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of monitor technician surveillance program/course within 90 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure: basic arrhythmia competency tool may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients.
• Identify dysrhythmias and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
• Operate and monitor telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records.
