Qualifications

• Monitor technician experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office familiarity.
• Good telephone manner and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors, document normal/abnormal EKG patterns, and notify nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Maintain monitor alarms and verify alarms are audible each shift.
• Participate in performance improvements and quality initiatives.
• Keep telemetry printouts during cardiac events and ensure clean work area.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and support department procedures.
