AdventHealth Zephyrhills seeks a Monitor Technician to observe telemetry monitors and document findings, notifying nursing staff promptly of any abnormalities during the night shift.

Position requires attention to detail, basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, and clear English communication. A High School grad and monitor tech training are preferred; full-time night schedule in Florida with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Monitor technician experience preferred.
• Monitor Technician training program or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Pleasant telephone manner and strong organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Documents in accordance with department policy and maintain telemetry logbook.
• Observes monitors, recognizing and documenting normal and abnormal EKG patterns, and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities.
• Maintains monitor alarms per policy, verifies that alarms are set and audible every shift, and troubleshoots monitors as needed.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities, demonstrating accurate documentation and monitoring of activities, and supporting departmental quality standards and initiatives.
