San Dimas Community Hospital, a Prime Healthcare facility in California, seeks a Monitor Tech to support the telemetry unit during night shifts. The role includes indirect patient care, rhythm monitoring, and order transcription when needed, within RN supervision.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a dysrhythmia interpretation certificate, and current BLS certification. Healthcare experience is preferred."

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for all hires.
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation certificate within 30 days of hire.
• BLS (AHA) certification required and maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE and EMR.
• Verify that lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done.
• Prepare and compile records in Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Order supplies and complete patient charts daily.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed.
