Job summary

Clear Lake - AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Telemetry Monitor Tech Unit Secretary to interpret cardiac rhythms and support the Medical-Surgical unit. The role requires accurate rhythm interpretation every 4 hours and timely reporting to the Primary Care Nurse while maintaining charts and rhythm sheets.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Basic EKG Monitoring Course preferred.
• Previous rhythm interpretation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythm strips every 4 hours including rate, rhythm, PR, QRS and QT.
• Report rhythm changes to Primary Care Nurse and document in patient records.
• Operate monitor system and hospital communication systems; track monitored patients at all times.
• Provide indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting and support staff as directed.
