Qualifications

• Preferred completion of Basic EKG Monitoring Course.
• Previous experience in rhythm interpretation or as a Telemetry Technician.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and pre-set limits.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret cardiac rhythm strips every 4 hours.
• Immediately report changes in patient’s rhythm to the Primary Care Nurse.
• Document arrhythmias and changes in cardiac rhythm on report sheet.
