Job summary

Kpc Global Medical Centers Inc. is seeking a dedicated Monitor Technician/Unit Secretary to join the Medical-Surgical Telemetry team.

The role provides essential secretarial and administrative support to the nursing unit while assisting nurses in monitoring cardiac rhythms of telemetry patients. The position requires completion of an EKG/Dysrhythmia course or equivalent experience, with preferred healthcare/monitoring background and BCLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Need completion of an EKG/Dysrhythmia course or equivalent experience.
• Experience in healthcare monitoring is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetry.
• Support nursing staff with timely communication and documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
