Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity.
• Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire.
• Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation of patients' cardiac rhythm.
• Identify basic arrhythmias and notify RN/Physician of changes.
• Troubleshoot false alarms and system issues.
• Document values and mount rhythm strips per unit standards.
• Monitor patients during special procedures as needed.
