Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide essential patient care under RN direction in our Puget Sound facilities. You will support comfort, safety, and recovery through compassionate basic care and coordination with the care team.

The CNA will assist with transport, admissions, and daily living activities, contributing to the patient’s plan of care while maintaining safety and infection prevention standards. WA CNA, BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (upon hire)
• WA Certified Nursing Assistant license (upon hire)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) through the American Heart Association (upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort
• Assists with patient transport and transfer
• Documents clinical activities and reports changes to RN
• Maintains a safe and organized workspace; stocks supplies
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and patient care processes
