Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient comfort, safety, and recovery under RN direction. You will perform basic care, assist with transfers, and contribute to the plan of care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include completion of an accredited CNA program, WA CNA certification, BLS/CPR, and a willingness to use military medical training if applicable; preferred six months of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program, upon hire.
• Military medical specialty training, upon hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant: WA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort, including feeding, bathing, and mobility.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to RN and documents relevant data.
• Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfers.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment; stocks supplies and equipment.
• Adheres to Safety, Infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
