Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Telemetry on a Full-Time 3rd Shift in Richmond, KY. The role supports Tele 4 (10-bed) and Tele 3 (22-bed) telemetry units, providing direct patient care under RN supervision.
Ideal candidates maintain Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification, have HS diploma, and demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and clear communication to ensure high-quality care in a busy hospital setting.
Tele 4 is a 10-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke, CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
Tele 3 is a 22-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
Under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct and indirect patient care. The CNA provides excellence in patient care while respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of everyone. Empathy, compassion, communication, and teamwork are the hallmarks of the PCT-nurse-patient relationship.
