Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg Telemetry. This full-time role on the 22-bed telemetry unit involves caring for medically complex patients, including pneumonia, ESRD, stroke and chest pain cases, with a focus on safe, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include nursing processes from assessment to evaluation, coordinating care, and ensuring policy adherence. Requires Kentucky RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and NIHSS within 3 months

FULL TIME 1ST SHIFT
Med Surg Telemetry is a 22-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing services and patient care in a variety of settings. Follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity.
