Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Telemetry Tech to support cardiology patients by continuously observing, interpreting, and communicating cardiac rhythms under supervision of the RN. This role requires precise ECG interpretation and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include maintaining central monitor alarms, assisting with video monitoring, order entry, and handling phones, with CPR training and basic dysrhythmia knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training.
• EMS/CMA diploma or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and record ECG rhythms accurately per procedure.
• Monitor ECG rhythm continuously at central monitor; report changes to RN.
• Clean and maintain telemetry monitors and account for monitor on discharge.
• Maintain alarms at appropriate levels and settings on central and bedside monitors.
• Perform unit duties such as video monitoring, order entry, and answering phones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
