Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Telematics Installation Technician to install and repair GPS and fleet-technology systems on commercial tractors, trailers, trucks, and other equipment.

This shop-based role focuses on ensuring power, communication, and secure mounting for devices in demanding environments. The technician will work with 12V/24V electrical systems, including telematics gateways, ELDs, cameras, sensors, and wiring harnesses.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive, diesel, or fleet electrical work.
• Knowledge of 12V/24V DC electrical systems and basic circuit diagnosis.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation guides.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and repair GPS and telematics devices on fleet assets.
• Perform 12V/24V electrical wiring for power, ignition, ground, and accessories.
• Install fleet technology including ELDs, dash cameras, sensors, gateways, and tracking equipment.
• Route and secure wiring for safe, durable installations.
• Document installations and repairs with asset information and photos.
• Coordinate with Shop Manager to minimize downtime and meet standards.
