Intermountain Health in Utah invites you to join its Telehealth Administrative Summer Internship, designed to augment classroom learning and develop future healthcare leaders.

You'll work with telehealth leadership on strategic and operational projects, attend leadership meetings, and deliver a funded sponsored project while gaining mentorship.

This educational opportunity includes exposure to remote patient monitoring, air ambulance ops, and hospital operations improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of one year of a post-graduate degree program (Business, Public Health, or Health Services Administration).
• Demonstrated leadership ability and skills in critical thinking, strategic planning, analysis and systems thinking.
• Proficiency with business computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, databases).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with senior leaders, department directors and managers to understand their environment and assist with projects.
• Regularly attend Executive Council, Governing Board, Medical Executive, and Physician Committee meetings as appropriate.
• Select and implement at least one project approved by supervising leadership.
• Assist with general administrative duties as they arise.
