Job summary

Avel eCare in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an entry-level eCare Operations Specialist to coordinate clinical workflows, support rural health partnerships, and help keep our telehealth services running smoothly. This role focuses on project coordination, technology support, provider onboarding, and data handling to improve patient care within a collaborative team.

Hours are Monday–Friday, dayshift, with a 40-hour workweek; reports to the RN Nursing Supervisor – eCare Specialty Clinic.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Two years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of operational and clinical workflow; educates hub staff on new implementations.
• Manages remote access paperwork with external EHRs; assists with account activation/deactivation, software upgrades, and staff training.
• Manages equipment and connectivity testing; files IT tickets; coordinates with site personnel and IT.
• Assists with implementation tasks and go-live events.
• Assists with data analysis to identify quality improvements for KPIs of the service line.
• Assists with month-end data compilation and processing.
• Coordinates physician scheduling and communication.
• Maintains policy/procedure to ensure compliant workflows.
• Coordinates and tracks scheduling of patient visits and on-demand assessments.
• Receives data into various systems; performs duties efficiently and accurately.
• Handles incoming phone calls from patients, sites, or providers with professionalism and strong customer service.
• Performs video equipment checks and troubleshooting as needed.
• Performs general secretarial duties (transcripts, edits, copies, collates).
• Assists with supply ordering and equipment maintenance.
• Supports internal/external customer service activities and event coordination.
