Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Hybrid Technician in Midland and Odessa, Texas. The role supports design and field tasks for infrastructure projects, requiring proficiency with CAD/ GIS tools and a strong understanding of plan and profile drawings, utilities, and survey data.

Candidates should have 5+ years of professional experience, work in a collaborative, safety-conscious team, and be comfortable with hybrid work arrangements after training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with creating plan and profile drawings.
• Knowledge of standard drafting techniques, technical standards, and procedures for infrastructure projects.
• Skills in industry software (CAD, GIS) to prepare technical drawings and communicate project information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan Production: support Project Managers with technical design tasks and generate plan and profile drawings.
• Compliance + Quality: apply QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
• Communication + Collaboration: coordinate with supervisor and design staff to complete assignments.
• Training, Learning + Advancement: develop skills interpreting survey data and engineering plans.
• Client + Internal Satisfaction: work with internal clients daily to solve issues and meet standards.
• Technical: conduct site surveys and capture field data for accurate designs.
