The Telecommunications Specialist will support all business units within Mosaic Health by designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing telecommunication systems such as VoIP, PBX, mobile devices, conferencing solutions, and network connectivity. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, managing vendor relationships, supporting integration with IT systems, ensuring compliance, and providing user support.

Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, and maintain telecom systems including VoIP, PBX, SIP trunks, call centers, and MDM.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot telecom issues to ensure high availability and QoS.
3. Support unified communication platforms like Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Zoom, or RingCentral.
4. Manage call routing, IVR, and auto-attendants.
5. Work with network teams on bandwidth optimization and system integration.
6. Implement telecom security measures.
7. Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and assets.
8. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
10. Provide training and support for telecom systems.
11. Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in telecom administration or enterprise telephony.
• Experience with VoIP solutions (Cisco, RingCentral, etc.) and cloud services.
• Knowledge of SIP, PRI, PBX, QoS, and telecom architecture.
• Experience with unified communication platforms.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions.
• Understanding of telecom security and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
• Certifications like Cisco CCNA Collaboration, Avaya, or CompTIA Network+ preferred.

Physical Demands

Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 15 lbs and repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements. Visual acuity required for data analysis and reading.
