Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to lead the design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecom systems in the Ashburn, VA area. You will work with the project team to manage documentation, layout, and field support on live job sites.

The role requires telecommunications construction experience, strong scheduling and estimation skills, and knowledge of structured cabling (CAT5/CAT6).

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
• Experience with creating project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation or takeoffs for new jobs.
• Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 structured cabling, and OSP/ISP cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assist project superintendent and engineering with documentation, layout and field support.
• Prepare a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
• Meet with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment with project team and warehouse.
• Oversee financial management of the project including cash flow and manpower.
