Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Design Engineer to support complex infrastructure projects within the critical facilities and systems integration industry.

The Telecommunications Design Engineer role is ideal for an early- to mid-career engineer with hands-on experience in structured cabling design, multidisciplinary coordination, and telecommunications infrastructure supporting enterprise and mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 2+ years in telecommunications structured cabling.
• Experience with inside and outside plant pathways, cabling systems, components, testing, and design.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design across stakeholders including Data/Wireless Networking, Audio Visual, Security, Mechanical and Electrical teams.
• Produce CAD/BIM drawings and develop BOMs and product data deliverables.
• Perform site surveys and develop test procedures for pre-installation and check-out activities.
