Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Deputy Project Leader (Telecommunications) to support data center buildouts; on-site in Charleston, SC, focusing on estimating, scheduling, and financial management across the full project lifecycle for secure government operations.

The role requires CPM scheduling in Primavera P6 or MS Project, detailed cost estimating, and coordination with internal teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of telecom infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of telecom or low-voltage project management experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel for scheduling and financial tracking.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems (fiber, cabling, CCTV, DAS).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Bid through closeout, including estimating, scheduling, and execution oversight.
• Develop and manage project schedules using CPM in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Build detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, subcontractors, travel, and equipment.
• Track and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of telecom infrastructure.
