Job summary

Hamilton County Telecommunications Department seeks a senior supervisor to oversee telecom requests for service, repair and installation for county offices. You will lead telecommunication and audiovisual staff, plan projects, and manage resources while ensuring quality and timeliness of work.

The role requires an Associate degree plus substantial telecom experience, with at least 3 years in project management and a valid driver's license. This is an in-person position with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications systems and service provisioning (government context).
• Experience supervising staff and approving time and leave requests.
• Strong project management and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise telecom and audiovisual staff; set priorities and schedules.
• Manage repair, service, and installation requests; prepare service orders.
• Configure and support Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Jabber; train end users.
• Oversee billing, inventory, and vendor invoices; ensure data accuracy.
