Job summary

White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial telecom crew in installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials.

You will provide tools and materials, move and set up equipment, and help ensure safe and compliant city notifications and access. The role involves hands-on outdoor work, variable weather, and potential overtime in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
