Star Construction LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables. You will provide tools, parts, and materials, move equipment, and assist with tagging and notifications for daily work.

The role requires physical labor in various weather conditions, with the potential for overtime, travel, and after-hours responsibilities. Relevant telecom experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
