Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking a Field Technician for our Fort Worth office to support field operations, safety practices, and underground utility exposure activities. The role involves working outdoors on civil infrastructure projects and coordinating with team members in various locations.

Responsibilities include following procedures, performing entry‑level technical tasks, operating equipment safely, and traveling locally to out‑of‑state assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of field operations, methods, procedures, safety requirements, and environmental considerations associated with civil infrastructure work in outdoor settings.
• Skills include use of industry-standard tools, equipment, and computer software to perform field tasks, document work, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to safely operate required equipment, travel locally, regionally, and interstate, with occasional overnight stays, and perform work in varying weather, terrain, and environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks with supervision and follow established procedures.
• Develop foundational technical and field skills.
• Responsible for safely operating equipment.
• Travel locally and out of state, including overnights.
