Location: Tempe & Peoria, AZ (Onsite - starts in both locations, then transitions to Peoria, AZ)

Type: Full-time with 10% bonus
A high-tech manufacturing facility is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to support the construction and operational readiness of all telecom infrastructure, including public address, CCTV, and network systems. This role owns system commissioning, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and preventive maintenance for critical facility communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Own all telecom systems (CCTV, PA, network) across construction and operational phases
Lead system commissioning, troubleshooting, and vendor oversight
Create PM plans, SOPs, training docs, and emergency protocols
Support infrastructure layout design, planning, and phased build-outs
Lead RCA and corrective actions for system failures or alerts
Ensure compliance with code, safety, and environmental regulations
Train staff and manage on-site telecom techs and contractors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in EE, Telecommunications, CS, or related
3+ years of experience with telecom systems in industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of telecom code, design, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Skilled in project/vendor management and telecom documentation
Comfortable with working at heights, confined spaces, or emergency call-ins
Preferred:
Experience in advanced manufacturing, high-tech or cleanroom environments
Familiarity with construction permitting and telecom compliance
