A healthcare provider is looking for a Facilities Technician in Naperville, responsible for operating and maintaining electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across facilities. The role requires performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to service interruptions efficiently. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, relevant experience, and necessary certifications, including a Stationary Engineer License.
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Under minimal supervision, operates, maintains, and repairs electrical, plumbing, tube system, fire alarm system, and mechanical equipment within all Edward facilities, including compressors, boilers, air and water valves, oxygen and vacuum systems, rooftop units, and emergency generators. Repairs, adjusts, and regulates heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems within facilities. Maintains and repairs non-clinical electronic components such as television controls and nursing call systems. Performs related duties including ordering materials, assisting others in difficult and/or complex work, and maintaining documentation according to departmental procedures.
