Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to design and support critical fiber and copper network infrastructure across our production facilities and launch operations.

You will coordinate downtime, write change requests, and ensure reliable communications for real-time operations, including IP-based systems and telemetry. Strong attention to safety and ability to work in fast-paced environments required.

Qualifications

• BICSI RCDD certification or a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and medium/high voltage power systems.
• Strong knowledge of fiber and copper network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for design, operation, and troubleshooting of fiberoptic and copper network infrastructure for IP-based systems.
• Coordinate downtime between maintenance, construction, and production teams to minimize disruptions.
• Drive telecommunication projects using design change requests and power monitoring data.
• Oversee equipment installation, operation, and maintenance to meet parameters.
