GDIT in Washington, DC is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to support a government sustainment program delivering data and voice communications. You will serve as a subject matter expert on operational readiness and customer service.

The role emphasizes resolving issues quickly, training opportunities, and career growth within a fast-paced environment on-site at the customer site in DC.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or Equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Governs operational readiness and security baselines for voice/data hardware; collaborates with senior admins to design and align system architectures.
• Designs integrated solutions for complex networked and non-networked systems; documents procedures and capabilities.
• Manages network system integrity and analyzes performance data to recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How a Telecommunications Analyst will make an impact

• Governs and engineers the continuous operational readiness and technical compliance of enterprise-wide voice and data hardware; collaborates with senior network administrators to design, configure, and align system architectures with stringent federal security baselines.
• Engineers and designs custom integrated solutions for complex networked and non-networked systems and hardware; authors system integration procedures, operational capabilities, and technical limitations while maintaining stringent federal and military security baselines
• Manages the integrity of the network systems of record; analyzes operational performance data and system trends to author technical recommendations
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

• Education: BS/BA or Equivalent experience
• Required Experience: 2+ Years’ related experience
• Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance)
• Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
• Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
• Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
