Job summary
Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Telecommunication Technician to design, deploy, and support complex digital networks and cloud server configurations. You will work with Cisco/Juniper equipment, virtualization, and container platforms to ensure interoperability across hosts and hypervisors.
The role requires strong integration and testing experience, in-depth knowledge of networking services, and potential leadership of project tasks.
Qualifications
- Eight (8) years' experience providing technical support for engineering and testing of complex software/hardware systems in telecommunications.
- Experience planning for telecommunications switches and conducting integration and system-level testing.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Cisco/Juniper or equivalent networking equipment.
- Experience with VMware, QEMU, KVM, or Docker.
- Experience with Linux or OpenStack.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex LAN/WAN systems, design and configure OS and protocol suites for virtualized/containerized environments.
- Load and configure cloud servers and routers/switches from Cisco/Juniper or white box hardware.
- Lead technical projects or provide work leadership to junior staff as needed.
