Job summary

NE Solutions in Hanover, MD seeks a Network Engineer with TS/SCI with Poly to join our team in a fast-paced, on-site role. You will design and support classroom and learning network infrastructure, working with staff and customers to meet strict deadlines and security requirements.

Key qualifications include CCNA, Cisco IOS, Palo Alto, VMware VSphere/VCenter, and strong TCP/IP expertise. You will implement STIGs, harden systems, and troubleshoot complex network issues while maintaining excellent

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with substantial network experience.
Eleven years of progressively responsible network systems engineering experience required.
CCNA certification required; other Cisco certifications preferred.
Experience with routers, switches, encryption, and firewalls.
Experience with TCP/IP networking and security policies.

Responsibilities

Design and support of virtual learning network infrastructure.
Design and support of classroom network infrastructure.
Troubleshooting network issues and recommending modifications to optimize performance while adhering to security policies.
Implementing STIG guidance, hardening and maintaining network systems.
