Job summary

Stanley Reid is seeking a Telecommunication Technician for an on-site role in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will analyze LAN/WAN systems, design and configure operating systems for virtualized environments, and resolve interoperability issues across hosts and guests.

You will work with Cisco/Juniper gear and contribute to cloud server configurations while guiding junior staff. Required TS/SCI with FS Poly, 8 years of technical experience, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 years of technical support for engineering/testing complex systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes, VMWare, QEMU, KVM, Docker, Linux/OpenStack.
• Strong background in Cisco or Juniper networking equipment, telephony, and SDN.
• CCNA or RHCSA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex local and wide area network systems and configurations.
• Plan, design, and configure operating systems for virtualized/containerized environments.
• Resolve interoperability issues across host and guest nodes.
• Configure cloud servers and networking hardware from vendors like Cisco/Juniper.
• Provide technical leadership to junior staff.
