Job summary

Qualifications

  • Fifteen (15) years of configuring and tasking experience in SIGINT systems.
  • Experience with SIGINT configuration, normalization, survey, and equipment configuration.
  • Experience performing basic signal analysis.
  • Experience interpreting system health indicators, parameters, and routing processes.
  • At least seven (7) years with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols.
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing systems that modulate/demodulate digital signals.
  • In-depth understanding of modern/digital telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • In-depth understanding of the U.S. SIGINT System and related facilities.
  • Understanding of export issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Mission Management of collection operations.
  • Configure customer collection systems to execute tasking.
  • Optimize collection activities per SOPs and Government guidance.
  • Ensure collection resources are used efficiently.
  • Provide operational assistance during upgrades and installation of new collection systems.
  • Promote dissemination of accurate collection assessments with OPCs and customers.
  • Document operational activities and tasking in logs and summaries.
  • Provide technical recommendations during reviews of collection priorities.

Job description

Wyetech is seeking an experienced Telecommunication Technical Analyst Level 3 to support mission-critical SIGINT collection operations. The successful candidate will operate, demonstrate, and train on current and prototype intelligence and telecommunications equipment in test and operational field environments while optimizing and configuring collection resources.

This position requires extensive hands‑on experience with SIGINT systems, modern digital/optical telecommunications, collection tasking and configuration, signal analysis, and end-to-end data flow. The analyst will contribute to technical studies and evaluations, provide recommendations supporting mission decision‑makers, and maintain strong working relationships across the Intelligence Community, including military services, Second and Third Party customers, and vendors.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Fifteen (15) years of configuring and tasking experience with directly related, hands‑on experience in SIGINT system and subsystem‑level tasking.

  • Experience with SIGINT system configuration, normalization, survey, and equipment configuration.

  • Experience performing basic signal analysis.

  • Experience interpreting system health indications, parameters, and routing processes.

  • At least seven (7) years of professional experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, internet communications, and/or packet switching systems.

  • Experience designing, developing, and/or testing systems that modulate, demodulate, multiplex, and/or demultiplex digital communications signals.

  • In‑depth understanding of modern/digital telecommunications systems and equipment.

  • In‑depth understanding of the U.S. SIGINT System and SIGINT collection and processing facilities.

  • Understanding of applicable export issues.

  • Ability to develop and maintain extensive working relationships with Intelligence Community representatives, military services, Second and Third Party customers, and vendors.

  • Experience supporting collection operations, collection resources, and mission requirements.

Capabilities:
  • Conduct Mission Management of collection operations at Government direction.

  • Configure customer collection systems to execute tasking.

  • Optimize collection activities in accordance with standard operating procedures and Government guidance.

  • Ensure assigned collection resources are used efficiently.

  • Provide operational assistance to users during upgrades and installation of new collection systems.

  • Participate in discussions with Offices of Primary Concern (OPC) and customers to promote dissemination of accurate collection assessments.

  • Respond to collection requirements received from Data Orchestration Services.

  • Document operational activities and tasking in daily logs and collection summaries.

  • Provide operational input and technical recommendations during reviews of collection priorities submitted by the Information and Intelligence Analysis organization.

  • Provide technical assistance necessary to implement collection-tasking strategies.

  • Conduct discussions between various TOPI and other customers to ensure accurate collection assessments are received and shared.

  • Participate in the review and validation of collection priorities submitted by Information and Intelligence Analysis.

  • Maintain knowledge of site capabilities, including end-to-end data flow, to recognize, define, and resolve collection problems.

  • Provide collection summary reports, statistics, and metrics through formal and informal communications.

  • Collect, compile, and generate analysis reports related to characteristics of signals based on Government identification of signals.

  • Support the technical development of junior personnel in SIGINT analytical tradecraft.

  • Provide technical direction and technical support for the development of training.

  • Conduct and document all-source research to identify communications used by targets of interest.

  • Provide expertise throughout the acquisition cycle to support integration of SIGINT systems for USCS customers.

  • Provide expertise and perform technical analysis of prototyping activities.

  • Support deployment of new systems, including operational effectiveness assessments.

Qualifications:
  • Fifteen (15) years of configuring and tasking experience with directly related, hands‑on experience in SIGINT system and subsystem‑level tasking, configuration, normalization, survey, equipment configuration, basic signal analysis, interpretation of system health indications, and parameter and routing processes.

  • Professional experience must include at least seven (7) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, internet communications, packet switching systems, and/or experience designing, developing, and/or testing systems that modulate, demodulate, multiplex, and/or demultiplex digital communications signals.

  • Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Salary Range:

$72.36 - $97.98 USD Hourly

*Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. Hourly pay rates reflect the pre‑benefit gross wage amounts.
