Responsibilities

• Oversee a 4-5 person construction crew.
• Operate heavy equipment including mini excavator near live utilities.
• Read utility prints and maps accurately.
• Set up and shut down projects with traffic control.
• Load/unload materials at yards and sites.
• Identify hazards using pre-task planning.
• Ensure locates and safety procedures are correct.
• Maintain safe operation of all equipment.
• Communicate with crew consistently and clearly.
• Assist with JSAs and shift planning.
