Job summary

ElectriCom is seeking a working Foreman to lead a 3–5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects. The role combines on-site leadership with hands-on tasks such as equipment operation, trenching, installation, and site preparation.

Based outdoors in all weather, you will travel to job sites—including overnight, out-of-town assignments—while ensuring a safe, efficient crew. CDL is required and strong reading of construction plans is needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Foreman experience in telecom, utility, or construction.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience.
• Aerial and buried experience required.
• Strong safety practices and utility-location awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans/specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to direct and motivate a crew.
• Proficiency operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to perform labor tasks when needed.
• Ability to adapt and solve field problems; support improvement.
• CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3–5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects.
• Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals.
• Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew.
• Conduct job-site and equipment inspections.
• Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers.
• Support a team-oriented work environment and crew development.
• Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required.
