Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. seeks a working Foreman to lead a 3-5 person crew on telecommunications and utility projects. The role involves hands-on tasks, equipment operation, trenching, and site prep in outdoor environments, with travel to sites and possible overnight assignments.

You will ensure safety, plan daily work, and communicate progress to management and customers, while mentoring crew members and promoting teamwork in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Foreman in telecom, utility, or construction.
• Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3-5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects
• Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures
• Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals
• Perform hands‑on tasks alongside the crew
• Conduct job-site and equipment inspections
• Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers
• Support a team‑oriented work environment and encourage crew development and growth
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
• Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed
