Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. seeks a hands-on Foreman to lead a 3–5 person crew on telecom and utility construction projects. This on-site role requires coordinating daily work, safety compliance, and active participation in trenching, equipment operation, and site preparation.

The position involves outdoor work in all weather, travel to multiple job sites (including possible overnight stays), and overtime as needed. CDL preferred or willingness to obtain. Weekly pay and strong benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Foreman experience in telecom, utility or construction.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to direct and motivate a crew.
• Proficiency operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to perform labor tasks when equipment operation is not required.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in the field, supporting continuous crew improvement.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe practices.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3–5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects.
• Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals.
• Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew.
• Conduct job-site and equipment inspections.
• Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers.
• Support a team-oriented work environment and encourage crew development and growth.
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
• Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required.
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed.
