Job summary

Isbell Construction LLC, an ElectriCom subsidiary, seeks a Foreman to lead a 3–5 person crew on telecommunications and utility construction projects in Florence, TX. This on-site, hands-on leadership role involves equipment operation, trenching, installation, and site preparation in all weather.

You will travel to job sites, including overnight assignments, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time performance. A CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Foreman experience in telecom, utility, or construction.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong safety knowledge and utility-location awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong leadership and communication to direct and motivate crew.
• Proficiency operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to perform labor tasks when needed.
• CDL preferred or willing to obtain.
• Reliable attendance and safe work practices.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3–5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects.
• Maintain a safe job site and crew compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals.
• Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew.
• Conduct job-site and equipment inspections.
• Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers.
• Support a team-oriented work environment and crew development.
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
• Travel to job sites, including overnight assignments; overtime may be required.
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed.
