Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead crews on our Telecom Underground team in Columbus, OH. You will supervise installation and maintenance of underground telecom systems, ensure safety protocols, and meet project timelines.

You’ll read blueprints, train crew members, communicate with property owners, and help enforce OSHA and DOT regulations. This hands-on role requires 3+ years of related foreman experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED; related work experience preferred.
• At least three years of foreman or crew lead experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone follows safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
