Job summary

CUI Cable Services in Lanham, MD is seeking a Cable Technician-WE TRAIN to install and service residential telecoms. No prior cable experience required; you’ll receive paid training, a company vehicle, and ongoing support to grow within the team.

As a Cable Technician, you will travel to customer homes to install and service Internet, TV, Phone, and security services, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
• Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services.
• Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Educate customers on their equipment and services.
• Test signal quality and ensure every installation meets company standards.
• Complete upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Accurately document completed work using mobile applications.
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Continue developing your skills through ongoing training and certifications.
