Job summary

Alamon, Inc. seeks a Telecommunication Technician Level 2 for its Network Services department. The role installs, maintains, and modifies telecommunications equipment at customer facilities, including central offices, data centers, and wireless sites.

Travel and working across varied environments are required to meet project goals. The position emphasizes following safety requirements, engineering documentation, and customer standards with limited supervision, while supporting Level I

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Proven telecommunications installation experience with central office, data center, wireless, or related environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and installation specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform telecommunications equipment installation, modification, maintenance, and removal with limited supervision.
• Install and secure equipment racks, cabinets, and related infrastructure according to standards.
• Route, dress, secure, label, terminate, and verify cabling.
• Install DC power cabling, grounding and bonding, battery systems, and related hardware.
• Travel to customer locations and work varying schedules, including nights and weekends.
