Alamon, Inc. seeks a Telecommunication Technician Level 1 for its Network Services department. This entry‑level role supports installation, maintenance, and telecom infrastructure at customer facilities, under supervision while developing skills for career progression.

The position is local for training with travel required after 30 days. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required, with opportunities for growth through hands‑on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with a laptop and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with telecommunications equipment installation and removal.
• Install and secure equipment racks, cabinets, cable racks, ladder rack, and related infrastructure.
• Route, dress, secure, label, and terminate telecommunications cabling under supervision.
• Assist with installation of DC power cabling, grounding, batteries, and related equipment.
• Assist with fiber-optic and copper cable installation and routing.
• Complete required daily documentation, time reporting, and project records.
