Job summary

Alamon, Inc. seeks a Telecommunication Technician Level 2 for its Network Services department.

The Level 2 technician installs, modifies, maintains, and removes telecommunications equipment at customer facilities and adheres to safety and engineering documentation while working with limited supervision. This role spans central offices, data centers, wireless sites, huts, shelters, and other telecom facilities; you will read drawings, route fiber and copper cabling, install power and grounding,

Qualifications

• Possess a current driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Must be willing to travel and pass background checks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and site documentation.
• Proficiency with a laptop and standard software tools.
• Commitment to safety policies and incident reporting procedures.
• Prior telecom installation experience at Level I or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform telecommunications equipment installation, modification, maintenance, and removal with limited supervision.
• Route, dress, secure, label, terminate, and verify cabling per standards.
• Install DC power cabling, grounding, batteries, and related hardware.
• Install fiber-optic and copper cabling and basic connectorization.
• Read engineering drawings and follow MOPs with limited assistance.
• Travel to customer sites nationwide; provide guidance to Level I technicians.
