Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Telecom Technician to support Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square in New Orleans. You will install and troubleshoot voice and data wiring for events, run CAT6, and maintain telecom closets.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–3 years of telephone and data wiring experience, and the ability to lift ladders and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• 1–3 years of telephone and data wiring experience.
• Ability to lift ladders and data wire.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot telephone and data lines.
• Run CAT6 data cable and terminate and test.
• Set out telephones and data lines for events.
• Provide maintenance on telephone closets and enclosures.
• Maintain organization in IT rooms.
• Track inventory of telephone and wiring and related supplies.
• Assist IT and Telecom Techs as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
