Job summary

TrueNet Communications is seeking an Installation Technician to perform structured cabling and install total integrated voice and data systems, networks, and wireless. The role involves extensive travel (up to 80%) and requires a high school diploma or GED with telecommunication training.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
Minimum telecommunication training/experience expected; ability to solve problems.
Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Has technical knowledge of structured cabling, installation of voice and data systems, networks, and wireless.
Perform installation and maintenance of equipment installations and central office infrastructure.
Run cables, assemble ironwork, rack equipment, and mount devices.
Stage equipment and manage inventory; ensure calibration of tools.
Prepare and coordinate with installation team to ensure safety and quality.
Adhere to EH&S policies and work with minimal supervision.
