Job summary
SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Telecommunication Engineer to design and support critical fiber and copper network infrastructure across production facilities, launch systems and spacecraft support networks.

Qualifications
- BICSI RCDD certification; or bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and medium or high voltage power systems.
- Experience with LAN/WAN/WIFI/LTE and ISP/OSP structured cabling.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IBC.
- AutoCAD/Revit – beginner to intermediate.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for fiberoptic and copper network infrastructure.
- Coordinate downtime activities between maintenance, construction, and production teams.
- Drive telecommunication projects using design changes and power data.
- Troubleshoot electrical system problems and track load and capacity.
- Coordinate material procurement for large scale projects.
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors.
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to design and maintain systems.
- Provide telecom engineering support to field technicians for troubleshooting.
- Oversee equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.
