Job summary

Network Building + Consulting is seeking an Engineering Associate to support telecom site development, from macro to small cell projects, including fiber and conduits. You will contribute to site design, surveys, and construction drawings under supervision, gaining exposure to multiple disciplines and client interactions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design, engineering, and project management teams, with travel to local sites as needed and a path toward independent project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred; BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology a plus.
• 0-2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 required; Civil 3D 2018 preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with site design and engineering tasks.
• Assist in surveys, audits, and field measurements.
• Develop site layout and grading concepts for macro and small cell sites.
• Prepare construction drawings for PE review.
• Attend site walks with clients and vendors to document conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
